I would like to point out that DriverPack Solution is a completely portable program and does not require installation. Therefore, to remove it from your computer, just remove the folder where it's "installed" to.
How often the driver pack is updated?
And how do I update my installation?
Is it possible to manually update with the newer driverpacks? I'm guessing just placing the new ones in there, even renaming to match old old pack, won't work, likely something to do with the entries \dev_db, but it would be nice.
I'm getting this message right after I start DPS v11:
I'm using a copy of DPS v11 that I downloaded from here: http://bit.ly/ivU4EJ
My notebook is: MSI MS-171C (other notation: MEGABOOK VR700X).
OS: MS Windows XP SP3
The same error message occured also when I used DPS v10.6, so maybe the problem is with my computer, I don't know.
The other issue that I noticed is when I click to install and update drivers, the process of installation begins but it freezes before the end (on cca. 20%) and it can't finish the whole installation
EDIT: When I turned off (i.e. paused) Kaspersky (KIS 2011) and tried again to open DPS I got the same massege as on the picture but in this case the installation process has been completed sucessfully and drivers has been updated. So in my opinion the error message I got is only caused by a minor bug in DPS.
