hi
i download the driver pack and it's work in my window 7 100%
but today i format my friend laptop and install win xp 32-bit but every time i try to run the program it gave me script error !!and did not work !!
please help??
-
what version of WinXP you have, sp1?, sp2? sp3?
give an error code completely! or screenshot...
-
I also have encountered this problem with reinstalls of XP with SP3 and with Vista reinstalls. J script errors. It appears IE8 needs to be installed for it to work without errors, previous ver do not support the script??? This would not be a problem except I need the LAN drivers to access the internet to download IE8.
Thanks in advance for any help with this.
Other than this glitch this is a awesome tool!!
Much respect,

1) Install the IE7, IE8. critical!
I understand but the idea is to work fine WITHOUT installing IE7 or IE8.
Why? Because many don't like it now. When my friends are calling me to (re)install their XP they never ask me to install IE7/8. And if you want a fast Windows you install as little as possible.
So, I don't see the point in installing IE7/8 just to install drivers...By the way, in the driverpacksolution_R149Q.7z there is a sort of readme.txt, but in russian. Could it be translated..?
Thank you.

use easydrv (skydriver) for installing drivers for major devices in xp
program is small and drivers database small (140 mb) and uptodate (only well known manufacturers)
lan/wan drivers are the most important, to be able to access internet
for other devices, go to manufacturer site
for obscured/unknown devices, search google for driver (read how to find name of device here)

Hi.
I Have Windows XP SP3. Internet explorer is 6.0.2900.5512 (I haven't upgraded cause I don't use it)..
It was installed 6 month ago but every 3..4 weeks I get it back from backup (to be "fresh").
So I don't think that the Windows is the problem.
Also I have no viruses.
The computer is stable.I downloaded DRPSu10-x32-x64.rar and DriverPackSolution10.0v145Q.7z and decompressed them. I moved the files from DriverPackSolution10.0v145Q.7z overwriting the ones from DRPSu10-x32-x64.rar.
Double click on start.cmd, no script error.
It asked me about reindexing. I agreed.
After it finished it showed an error:
[/URL]
I tried to send a report, this I got:
Now when I try start.cmd again it gives me the first error from the start.
Later I tried again to rebuild all, same problem.
What can I do..?
Thank you for any help.

Make a clean install: unpack DriverPack Solution into a new folder and put driverpacks into the DRP folder.
If you still have the problem, attach the logs to your post. (driverpacksolution_R149Q\logs)

I did what you said.
It started indexing without requesting confirmation.
When it finished I got the same type of error but at line 1353.

I removed DP_Graphics_C_wnt5_x86-32_912.7z.
After it finished I got exactly the same error.
Logs can be found at: http://www.mediafire.com/?u8v4cuzjc75n8znOh, if you want I can send you checksum for any file...

This time the error occurs because of drp\XP\SamLab\DP_Video_ATI_wnt5_x86-32_912.7z
Take it out as wellTry using the current driverpack

I tried to get DRPSu10-x32-x64.rar from drp.su.
I couldn't figure out what the security code is (I tried "smvvm" and "smuum")
So a friend gave me this link: http://turbobit.net/sk2yy7d0gvo8.html
17 hours download
I checked DRPSu10-x32-x64.rar and the 2 7z with Winrar - said that are fine.

Ok, for the others to know: you found the problem and you are trying to fix it.
I know that it's a lot to work but please can you give me an estimation about how long it's gonna take until it will work in these conditions too..?
Thank you.
Best regards.

If I've done something wrong, BadPointer, sorry...

Yes, I was about to say that this is the problem (BadPointer found it).
I thought you talked to BadPointer but I didn't know the situation between you.A solution is that the user temporary switch to english/russian, of course, but a profesional one is to make the code work fine on any language.

at the moment, there is no trivial solution to this problem
