I use the last version of DriverPack Solution.
It's a wonderful tool, thank you very much.
Anyway I noticed a problem:
DrvUpdater.exe may be a good program but I don't want to be installed in Windows without my express consent. Currently the normal user doesn't know about its installation; the advanced user has only a few secondes to deactivate it since DriverPack Solution starts.
First time I start DriverPack Solution on a new computer I have to quickly click on settings and then uncheck "Activate DriverUpdater".
A few seconds later, the checkbox dissapears:
I often read this forum even if don't usually post. I noticed that some time ago there were other posts about the same problem.
In the new version not only you didn't fix that, but I see that you decided to hide the installation of DrvUpdater.exe by not showing in Control Panel and by starting it in registry:
That's very strange...
How do you explain this...?
Fixed soon release.
