Please Help. Gateway MT 6452
-
Hello All I am new here. I've searched all over the net for a solution to my problem & hope I am posting in the right place ( If not please forgive me)
Problem: I have a Gateway MT6452 that I've had to replace the HDD in, so I'm not able to get to the recovery partition on the old HDD. I am trying to do a freash install of Vista from the install disc. When it gets to the finallizing install & reboots it just hangs @ the black screen. I've been in bios & don't see anything that might remedy this situation. It also happens if I try to install Windows 7. Any help would be great!!! I'm @ my wits end. Thanks in advance:(

Your computer probably has a problem in memory.
try to check the memory (program MEMTEST)
